Everything has gotten a classic oil paint wash. I accidentally knocked off one of those rudder balances but I found it.

It’s amazing how a simple wash really brings out all of the details

Yes, even in the time of black basing, filters, anti monochromatic finish, pre shading, filters, modulation and those other techniques a simple wash remains essential for me.

Great work on the little Ohkas! I agree about the wash... a good wash usually transforms a model.

Almost done, the flat coat is on and a few details (visor was made with copper wire). I am going to make a small vignette for the Kamikaze and then they are done.
