Just beware of the star that goes on the turret roof… lots of decal solvent needed there…

Thanks for the tips, had not even thought of that small "detail" yet.
But wait... you mean you did not cut the decal but "just" soaked it with decal solvent ?
Your Cromwell is really a nice build! I tried to find more pictures of it, but I guess this is the only one that exists on SPAM ?
I especially like the driver (?) hanging out of the side hatch, really good and dynamic.

Thanks Kari. I let the decal dry in place first before I did any cutting if I remember right. I finished this one probably 15 years ago or so, before SPAM came along. Once it had dried, I started hitting it with solvent. Lastly I used white paint and a very fine point brush for touch ups where needed on the insignia. The driver figure came from the Tamiya Chieftain kit.
