Thanks guys! Gotta do a bit of sanding to smooth out seams on the parts on I glued on and then it will be time for painting…

Bravo, Carlos! How did the cockpit decals go down? Easy or hard way? Great production photos!!

Well it’s been over a month since I posted any progress photos on this. Since the cockpit was a bit spartan, I decided that I would add the kits pilot figure into the cockpit for some more visual interest. I found a photo of one of the flight test or prototype demonstration pilots in a blue flight suit with a red, white, & blue helmet(probably to match the original markings of the aircraft) so I went with that look on the figure
As of now he is glued in place and awaiting the canopy to be glued on tomorrow so I can commence priming and painting.

Thanks guys. That’s the best he’ll ever be seen, since the canopy will be glued on soon, it’s tinted and non openable so…

The canopy is now in place, so this is the best he will be seen here…

All looks good Carlo - it should look the part under the tinted canopy.

Looks good Carlos. I dig your pilot painting. Makes me think of that scene from 'Patton' where Patton is describing the Tanker's uniform he had designed
