The small parts are all on. Next up was the wash; I’m a bit old-school and use oils—a mix of brown and black. It always looks absolutely terrible halfway through the process. I then used tissues and cotton swabs to wipe away the excess. The panel lines aren't very deep, so I had to be careful. I'm really pleased with the result.
The next step is applying a flat coat and then painting the final details. Almost there!

Thanks for your kind remarks.

I highlighted a few panels with thinned white and added a bit more wash on selected panellines. The contrast is a bit high now but will be toned down by the flat coat.

On some of these bombers, I see a bluish or grayish paint applied to what I assume is the electronics/detection package blister on the lower fuselage.

Looks like a probable radar dome. On Soviet made aircraft, those are usually made from either a gray or green fiberglass type material. I don’t know much about Chinese made versions of the types.

Yes, I do think that is a radar. And the green colour is common on soviet aircraft as a cover for electronic systems.
However, for the Chinese camouflaged examples of this aircraft I see them with this dome painted over. A bit of a pity because the green would have made a nice contrast with al this white.
