Some late night (11 pm EST) sanding and test fitting. Looks promising.

Oh yeah, test fit the brass gun barrels. They look spectacular prior to test fitting top wing halves.

Next to test fit and install weapons bay portion up front.

Do invest in a David Union Ergonomic Pen Sander...

Wings halves are glued on. Had to do a bit more sanding to get them to sit right.

Now, I am undecided on which tires to use: plain or spoked type.

I'm on a roll tonight...

Wings on fuselage!

Minor gaps on both sides. I dont want to force them but nothing a but of putty can cure it.

Now it will be easier to position the weapons bay portion where it's suppose to go...

I will install the top back wall part later. First, time to slap on a coat of paint on it.

it looks like there should be a slight gap where the cannon fit through the leading edge.

That photo really does show to good effect just how grungy an aircraft gets in the rapid tempo of combat.
