After a bit of delay the Goblin got a second coat of black, the anti glare panel was masked off and it has gotten its aluminium coat. Next, not masking for the yellow on the fin tips.

I guess not too much of Alclad was needed to cover this canvas...

A quick pray from the can was enough. I have put the decals on and sealed then with Future. These Propagteam decals behaved remarkably well.
Then I washed the whole airframe wth an oil wash. Next up: flat finish and detail painting.

The word "Montageservice" on the newspaper has no tie to this ultra small fighter, I guess?

Nope, I did all the montage myself. I am more of a builder then a collector.

Yes, it is almost done. The flat coat I just bought at the Aviationmegastore was a bit more flat then I expected.



So I polished the Goblin with some grafite powder on a qtip.



The end result is a bit more dull and dirty then I want on a prototype aircraft like this one. But I think that more tinkering on the finish will probably make in worst instead of better.
I have to finish the dolly and then this one is ready for the display case.

I just wonder why you gave it a flat coat all over at all?

Just to seal it all in and because NMF is often dull in real life. But satin would have been dull enough.

Here is the completed build. Now I can focus on my Komet for the GB.





The work an the cockpit is quite visible. So I am happy I added some details and seat belts.



And to add a sense of scale: the whole thing on a credit card.
