Yes that is pretty much the case, after the summer projects, and trying to get some other stuff done, I slowed down for a while. I could do little stuff at the bench, but not knuckle down on anything, aside from the finishing touches on a few that were right at the finish line. This one has me really going to get it done, done well, and in a fairly fast time (for me)...

Today was back to work on my Tiffy. And I tried out my new airbrush and compressor as well. Which ended up causing a speed bump, as the airbrush did not want to work at first. So after some troubleshooting I found that it needed even more cleaning in the tip, but now it is fully operational and I am working on the learning curve of double action airbrushing...

So anyways first up I applied Humbrol primer to all areas that had bare white strip and rod styrene, resin, brass, or PE... I tried to use the new airbrush here, but this is when I found it did not work yet. So I dug out my cheapo Pasche....

and then after I got the new DA airbrush working, I used it airbrush on a coat of Humbrol RAF Cockpit Grey Green

I will let this dry overnight and then start on detail work tomorrow...

Thanks fellas. Jim. the new airbrush is gonna be fun to learn I think. Just towards the end of my session did I start to get the hang of some of the setting between pressure and needle position.... I see much potential there...
