I know some of these are similar pictures but after working several days on the Akagi I have most of the port side completed. I installed most of the railing, some I should have waited on but, they're on now. The Hasegawa PE is very thin and extremely easy to bend and break so with my fat thumbs this will no doubt cause problems. Hasegawa does not provide holes in the bracing, so everything had to be drilled. I'm waiting for the ladders from Australia and I'm not sure when those will be arriving. I really need them at this point.

Here is my kitbash of Aillence's 12.7cm type 89 to the 12 cm type 10 included in the kit, which the Akagi had. The guns were going to be replaced after Midway to the newer type 89.
