Thanks for the amazing and very interesting words. I guess it is a bit to much... my works are not as good as your words.
I am still in my way to proof that these old kits can look good. One of my dreams is to see all of the 1:72 scaled Matchbox kits built in my show case.

Agreed. I do enjoy a good Matchbox build. As I recall, the Supermarine Stranraer was quite a bit of fun to work on!

Now we are Close to finish line.
Still work ahaed but also some progress yesterday.

Progress is always good. A step, large or small, closer to completion.

Last night I put on the wheels and die a washing with thinned oil colors (black-brown-mix).
Not fully finished but on a good way.

Great texture and panel definition from the oils. Nice blending. As a study in contrasts, would you ever consider adding some of the engine grime from usage to set off the shinier areas?

Well Bruce, thanks for liking my model. Yes, I did consider. I am going to add some smoke to the exhaust area and a complete dull finish.
Also I need to add some details and remove some mistakes.

Now that's just blooming wonderful - It's nice to see these old Matchbox kits getting built (they're my favourite CBK) and you've done a cracking job on that one

Actually I've just read back to page 20(ish) of your thread. Your work is very nice indeed - that Mustang and 262 are amazing I liked your use of the printed out IP for your other Luftwaffe jet (the name escapes me) - that's s technique I've used a lot in 1/72 (before I was given a job-lot of decal IPs) and it really does work well.
