Ah sorry - CBK = 'Classic British Kit'. So Matchbox, FROG, vintage Airfix etc.

Thank you for sharing this beauty with us, Marius! The 190 came out so darn well. You should be proud! That is a wonderful build of a Matchbox kit; a dual challenge: to recreate the original as well as embrace the limitations of the kit itself. You have done a remarkable job on both challenges. I also really like the photo, but I want to see more photos... with poses on runways!

That looks magnificent Marius! One would never suspect that is a Matchbox kit due to it being built so well. Tremendous job!

Six?

"Watch your six" is fighter-pilot jargon for check behind you or watch your back. Imagine looking down on a plane from directly above; now superimpose a clock on that plane with the 12 at the nose of the plane and the six behind the tail. This was how WWII fighter pilots alerted their fellow flyers where to look to find enemy planes. They would call out "Bandits Four o'clock high!" which meant the enemy was diving down from the right side at an angle from behind the pilot.

I am really excited to see photos. I honestly had no idea that Matchbox kits could be made to have a soul until now. You are making an interesting statement (I know we use "interesting" when we don't know how to articulate what we mean, but I am trying to be clear).
