My guess would also be something to do with the torque of the engines.

Brake lines—my sketch did not please me (too narrow) but... I am trying to work out how to add brake lines. Any ideas? I would like these to stay put. Maybe small plastic tabs?

Those are very nice-looking together. And for an earlier kit, the detail on the struts is lovely.

I would use pieces of Ukulele strings for those brake lines. They’re nylon, inexpensive, and either the G string or the A string would be of adequate thickness for a scale(ish) appearance. They’re malleable and bendy, and should hold fast with CA glue.

Thanks, Ken. I was thinking more how to attach the wires but I will go to the music store on my way to the gym to price strings. My thought was to put two holes in the top horizontal span of each strut then CA copper wire (I have some quite smallish wire which may work), then drop the wire to reach the brake drum which is part of the wheel. Thoughts?
