Paint looks great Kenny! I can't tell but is that RLM 02 leaking outside of the wheel wells or some post-shade weathering?

As to your question, John, that’s post shading which will make much more sense when I get the oil paints going for the rest of the weathering. I picked that specific shade of light brown because I love the way it looks with the RLM 76, and because it’ll play very well with the oil paints I’m planning on using :-D

While I let Black 1’s belly rest, I put the first layers on RLM 02 on the cowling. Next will come some lightening shades, and some blending to tighten it up. I am pleased and satisfied with the smallness of my chipping effects so they will stay.
