Kari, I like adding these details. I need to lower the piece. I really thought I was in the right spot. The issue would be the lower glass on each side. I am running into the accuracate enough area where scale thickness of the fuselage rendered in plastic and scale thickness of this beam are in conflict. I hope there is some room to move this low enough to clear the seat supports.

Joe, Thank you! I’m not a hundred percent on 1/144. Lyle, How is that going? I almost bought a kit just to see what the scale was about. I think I have an X-Wing in that scale.

:hmm:

Looks like you might need to trim the PE a bit on the bottom. If it was me I would want to find a way to keep the extra detail but still make it fit.

Clint, you are a mind reader. I pulled the piece of photo etch carefully and gently off and reset it temporarily with tiny dots of blu-tak. Looks like the right side lower edge needs to be carefully and gently reduced. I would take a photo but I am at the gym not so carefully and gently trying to reduce! - 2019... the war against the gut begins.

You will get there! We will all get there! Carlos inspires me too. He got on his bike and rode his weight off. I am too fat to ride, but I am walking every day on the street and treadmill - a good lil’ hamster. My main struggle is diet. I went to a nutritionist and had to show her what my week looks like in terms of food and drink. That was a huge step for me. I had to admit to myself I was eating junk food most of the time—junk food, soda. I love empty calories. So it is time to quit that.

Here is a quick photo

Edit—I have to grind that pin off, too

Also—I was taught to anneal brass photo etch by my Dad. I use a candle flame. Does anyone else do this?

Yep Pepsi is my number one enemy I can't defeat lol. I'm not sure where I first heard it but anytime I have to bend PE I've annealed it over a flame first makes it a lot easier to bend. Just make sure you let it cool enough first before picking it up learned that the hard way on accident.

I'm all for exercise and trying to stay healthy, all my weight went to my gut and I had some major dunlap going on I'm happy with what I see in the mirror now, I meant for it to come out as encouragement that I lost 20lbs in 8 months, I didn't mean for it to sound snobby or anything. Bruce I support you 100% keep pushing until you hit your goal!
