As for the chrome yellow: put a layer of a bright metallic color, like white aluminum, on the black primer before laying down the yellow. That should bring the yellow to life and you shouldn't need multiple layers for good coverage.

Thanks for that! I was able to find the Chrome Yellow yesterday.

Painted the Dark Aluminum. What do you guys think? I know it needs to be weathered. But it all looks too shinny to me.

I think it looks great knowing that weathering should take care of the “shiny” look and tone it down.
