That looks spectacular Carlos! Tremendous job! I like the planetary base too.

One idea for the impulse engines: Paint them a bright yellow first; preferably a gloss. Then do a wash of a dark orange over it so that it tints the yellow and pools in the edges and corners; thus giving it a fading effect on the sides and corners. That just might work.

Mark, I was thinking something along those lines, although using clear red. In the movies those tend to be more reddish/pinkish, than yellow orange... BTW, we missed you at IPMS last night...

Thanks Carlos. That sounds like a good color combination too.

I hate that I missed IPMS too; just feeling sick and thought it best not to go. It seems to be a cold or possibly a mild flu. I still may get some bench time.

She is a good looking craft! Been following faithfully.

Thanks BSY. It was a toss up for me between the Humbrol Satin or Matt coat. But their Matt coat tones everything WAY down...

The famous 49.. actually i'm triyng to use the one in the clear bottle to replace it. Used the 49 for long time but is not so good as a time
