Ah you paint canopy frames like me - paint and then clean up with a cocktail stick?

green 102 and 80 from humbrol to reproduce the rlm71, very thinned first layer. After i performed some filling session but withouth putty, melted plastic and ca glue for wings/fuselage and vinyl glue for canopy








As you see now it's basement cave matters..

I guess the question has been asked before but cannot remember the answer... but in average, how many "thin layers" do you usually put on your builds ?

Halfway through the paint job is not the prettiest sight. But you will make it good.

For this green i hope three is enough
On separate control surfaces already done a second layer and is really better but take no pictures

Normally all my firts layers seems like this, the difference between a good finish or few heavy layers that going for a bad finish .

Ok, i found a way to complicate an easy build!!

wrong light green chosen..

Partially correct on the fuselage with 116, also started the darken 91 on wings splits

Also wrong color under wings.. white not yellow big tips!! to be correct i was confused on the instruction scheme

White was the theater ID recognition color for the Axis in the Mediterranean area. Yellow was the Axis ID color in use in the east and west(Russia, France- i.e. the rest of Europe) What area is this '88 supposed to be operating in?
