Thanks again guys! This feels like the slowest WIP...EVER!!!


I gave myself a day off, and a pair of easy/short days, so I could get in some bench time. Summer weekends get planned for me, so it seems....anyway...

About ready to unmask, add some fiddlies, and finish it off!

That's a great looking build Fermis - The paint finish looks fantastic.

Those 111 didn't have a very big bomb bay for the size of the aircraft

I hear that! It used to come up here for the small gathering that the Yankee Air Force museum would put together...back before it turned into a huge...and EXPENSIVE show. It was great, they'd get 10-15 warbirds to show up, parking was $5 and they gave you a nice booklet. Not a lot of people around, so you could get great pics without the crowd. Nowadays, parking is $20, plus $35 per person....I no longer go. I'll do some diggin, see if I can find some pics!

Got 'er finished up, late last night.
It's only been 10 days shy of 3 months, since I've finished anything!!!
In the same time frame, previous to this, I finished 15!!!
Summer is dumb!

Adorable paint job, Fermis.
The only thing that tells you it's 1/72 is the actuator on the rudder. But that's Airfix, not you.
