Wow, I have yet to be burned out on building period. I do get burned out on certain subjects, like WWII German simply because everyone seems to be building it, especially in armor! Still, even forcing yourself to build still results in outstanding work. I hear you on the Harbor Freight airbrush; that;s partly why I don't get one from there. I commend you on your magnificent work with such inferior equipment.

I get burned out every year, as Spring approaches and I have to start thinking about get the business back in gear for Summer, plus getting my taxes done (nothing like waiting til the last minute!!!), plus the Spring cleanup around the house. As those "deadlines" approach, I have a very hard time freeing my mind to relax and focus on building. These little "ruts" are typically short lived though.

I've pushed through, the last couple days...

Decals are done, for A-6 and F-14.

The Fujimi decals were far less than good...brittle, WAY too much decal film, and very little "stick" to em. I got through though!

The F-14 decals are from Furball....decent.

The F-18s are still in the hanger...waiting for my new airbrush to show up.

The A-6 is gettin close. Just a bit of final details...and 24 bombs that need to be cleaned up (a LOT...they're a mess!), painted and put in place.

Your issues put that in mind, because he was red-faced and probably if I wasn't around he would be swearing heavily at the struggle he was having. Best wishes to you, sir.

I had words....MAN, did I have some words!!! They completely lost effect though...muffled by the respirator.

Throwing it away is no great loss. It's a $20 Harbor Freight airbrush. I don't expect them to have a long life. I build a LOT of models (30-40 a year)...if I get 2 years out of a $20 airbrush, I'm not that mad!
I read this again while admiring the building progress further along in the thread. Plus, I did some homework and researched your threads from two years ago through today's post. I am definitely a fan of what you do and why you do it. Thank you. Truly. For the ride; the words and the models....

That's about as perfect of a word as I can come up with to describe these builds Jeremy. Never in a million years will I be going to a scale that small. You da man!
