Oh good call, Carlos. Didn’t notice that sledgehammer. Gotta hit that one with some color. Thank you for pointing it out. Must be the fumes of the paneliner that caused me to overlook it. :lashed:

I had debated whether I should hit a bit of dry brushing metallic paint on the vinyl tracks. Hmmm... which color? Jet exhaust? Aluminum? Graphite? Silver? Steel? Rust in some spots?

Dry brush some steel on both sides. But don’t do any rust. Rust only forms on tracks when the tanks sits for overnight or longer in one spot. As soon as the vehicle starts moving, the rust gets ground off.

Look at these tracks here and you’ll see a typical appearance. Dirty, but not rusted

Went down and started a little dry brushing using steel on tracks and other spots. I didn’t want to overdo it but pics will be forthcoming in the morning. I may go back with some minor paneliner coating to cut down the steel brightness on the vinyl tracks. In the meantime I’ll finally be ready to throw a coat of gloss clear to prep for decalling.

Doing some great work here! That photo is another amazing one. What's really cool is seeing the front road wheel completely missing the rubber.

A little update from this morning... Aplied brown/Green Paneliner to tracks. I'm glad I did it because it looks a lot better. The result:

These are photos after dry brushing Steel enamel in different spots prior or gloss coating for decals. I'm looking to finishing this by tonight or tomorrow morning at best. Vinyl track will be the last pieces to install.
