In flight mode! A display stand or a ceiling hanger... :hmm:
I did manage to find the piece of strut. I'll give it a try to reattach. Running the wheels through the atomic atomizer also known as the ultra-sonic cleaner. I gave them a good bath in 91% isopropyl alcohol first.

I paint wheels black and then use a white acrylic paint pen and paint the hubs. Works perfectly every time.

This one is becoming my "patience trying build" as if they all don't. I'll probably try this, just because. Sprayed some rattle can primer and silver on it yesterday. Pics later. Just got back from the last PT visit.

How is your physical therapy going, Lyle? I like Medic’s idea to use a paint pen. That is probably something you could grab easy enough. Have you ever used Micron pens? I bet a good .03-.05 thick Micron would work for your black and a silver pen would work for the hub.

Bruce, PT has finished up. I guess the new knee is going in the right direction. . . or so I'm told. Right knee is not behaving at all, so they both get very little rest. Oh well. Wife is probably next up for some surgery - on a trigger finger in her right hand.

I have some enamel paint pens that I've had for a while. have not used the Micron brand. May have to go shopping.

I hope to get down to the "room" today. We have no appointments nor grandchildren for several days...whew. Knees are iffy right now. But, as I'm told...."that is to be expected."

Anyway, Spent a lot of time laying in bed, trying to sleep and thinking about this thing. It will likely become a paint bomb/mule/target or something. The love just isn't there. It has, however, limbered up the processes of building. Guess that is a good thing.

I may have to go get some new paint pens....haven't tried the old (really old) ones yet. More to follow.
