I love it how shops are stocking these newer brands of paints. I’ve tried both of those lines and like them both. I think that AK has a wider line for armor colors, but their paints are a bit more fiddly to work with compared to Mission Models.

Yeah, it's great! They didn't have any AK Real Color Luftwaffe colors but the shop guy said he could order them for me.

Pinning for future reference:

The profiles are gorgeous, John. Where are those pages from? If I missed the earlier notation, apologies. I am catching up on your work.

They are from a book that was reviewed at Modeling News (which I love, by the way). I saw the review and the nice color profile of the three-tone ambush pattern and wanted to keep it handy as a reference. Below is the link to the book review...

Maybe the curse of the King Tiger has lifted. The tracking status changed today... US customs has been cleared! I wonder if the package entered on the West Coast or East Coast?

Odds are West Coast. Long Beach/L.A. Harbor has the majority of US imports shipped in worldwide.

Hope so... that'd make delivery to Carlsbad much faster!

:hmm:
You would think that would be the case. Kinda foolish to send it any other route. Of course coming in this way means bottlenecks due to volume of shipping.
