This is something I can’t really contain my excitement over. It’s like this big-ass door in your mind opened up and behind it was this awesome world full of possibilities and you’re enjoying it to the fullest. That makes me very happy!

I saw one of those photos on their website then I skipped over it because I could not see any details. The photos on Sprue Brothers website you linked are better. Thank you so much. Ken, How are you? What a fantastic portfolio. Simply incredible work. Ever little detail is there. The sun glint off of a wing... dirt debris flying off a crash landing... water splashes at sea... the deep pure blue of high altitude sky...

Indeed, Carlos. His work is magnificent! The Dam Busters scenes! Didja see ‘em? Outstanding! Here is the position of cockpit with the view from the engine looking back at the instruments and cockpit floor. The gaps top and bottom are circled. I am glad I removed the pour stub on the bottom.



There might be room to add structural supports here on each side of the cockpit walls. I dunno! Any thoughts? What I am using to fill the gaps are rolled up “stogies” of kneaded eraser.



One of the wing seams is pushed out of alignment. I’ll redo this when I test fit the wheel well resin piece tomorrow!

I would wait and see how much room you are going to have with the wheel well and bottom wing in place. But spreading it a bit with a piece of sprue would probably get rid of them gaps.

Good advice, Clint. I know if I put a modest amount of wing “pinch pressure” the gaps will close, so there is still a missing link here - the wheel well.
