I’ll answer your question in full when we get power back here to the house but semi gloss black is the way to go with the dash. Gimme a little bit and I’ll expand on this a little more.

Interesting method on the manifold and yeah, it does look like the real thing. Something to think about for my ‘55 Chevy Bel Air.

Ok Tom.
Looks like semi gloss is your best bet for the dash.

Might I add....this is a difficult car to find good shots of the interior. Still looking though.....

Here's another shot with bucket seats and a console......don't know about the originality of this one though. :hmm:

I've seen those pics as well and that's why I questioned it. For some reason waaay in the back of my mind, I should go with Satin Black, not semi-gloss black nor flat black - something in between the two.

For some reason I TOTALLY forgot about Satin Black and you're right because that is an "in between" shade of black. That certainly looks like the option here. Sorry 'bout dat Tom. :headslap:

Got the interior painted Satin Black and I'm liking how it's looking. Going to let it cure for 24 hours before going on further. Next, I need to paint the panel liner inside the auto body Flat black.

Yup.. those are decals on the dashboard instruments and steering wheel. I've already put drop of Future in each cluster hole on dashboard.

I really like the look of that interior Tom!! Satin black worked great in there! Sorry to hear about that CB. Any chance of working the dash out of there to install it?
