Elegant lines. Never out of style. I think I like the engine mounting area, too. Looks easy and sturdy.

I think there's a trade-off between detail and simplicity of construction, but yes - some times these things can be massively over engineered.

This is a wonderful topic thread! Thank you all for making this such a great place to visit. Stuart, I am really excited to see you building that kit and would like to read more of your impressions! Kari, your latest test assembly looks magnificent. Last but never least, Medic, wow! Build it.

Hi Bruce,

Yes they are part of an early fit antenna - I don't know the details but I'll check my ref's later.

PS. Eduards 1/72 kit is not an easy build... It just and just on the edge to become an annoying build... I can't remember the 1/48 that I started was this challenging..
But then again, I did not come further with the 1/48 Spitfire than this....
