I know how you feel about stepping one step back having to scrub the paint again. It's good to work on something else while waiting for the paint you need. That way you at least feel like you're making some progress somewhere.

This was the try using Vallejo model air paint
Then the finished jet engine

looks like I need to clean up the grey wash a bit more on the rear section.

Thank you everyone! That was the try with Vallejo model air. That paint has been scrubbed and will be ordering AK Real Color Friday after I get paid. I didn't like it so third time's a charm right? Took three stabs on my Storch and three on this one.

Thanks for them photos Bruce! I'm trying to depict white 1 at Leck. White 3 on that profile looks the closest.
