Yessir! I’m a-fixin’ to build the seat and test fit the cockpit tonight. My landlord says he’s a-gonna demo my shower stall Tuesday, and I gotta a young love in my life and we gotta play chess soon (or is it checkers?). Naw it’s chess.

When I have played chess, rarely, horribly and not often, I move mostly to confound the other person. Drives ‘em nuts.

Bruce, congrats on the new love. I hope and pray it all works out for you. Be sure to show her your hobby soon so she knows what she's getting into. I'd hate to see you leave the hobby because she doesn't like it. My wife hates my hobby, but tolerates it because A) I won awards for some of my work; but more importantly in her eyes, B) I got paid to do it a few times when I did commissions.

Okay, I didn't mean to take off on that tangent. My sincere apologies Bruce.

I'm glad to see you got the mystery solved. Looking forward to seeing the progress shots of the cockpit.

Thanks to all! Mark, one of the easiest parts of this relationship is that as an architect she builds models, so she basically has her own paint, glue and plastic card as well. We are still feeling out where we are going to live and how we are going to work and live, but I certainly appreciate your thoughts. I’d like to congratulate you on your awards, too. Also as much as I would love to have my own workbench and room one day, I kinda dig being scrappy. I was reading about how the shop changed when Shelby American moved from Venice (where fabrication took place in a tiny garage) to their airport facilities, and how the original team felt that their best work took place in the primitive conditions. I think this is why I love theater and film: these are places for imagination; they are not pretty behind the scenes, at least not always. There are moving parts, and often close quarters....

That is great to know! Congrats on finding such a wonderful woman! As for a Hobby Room; trust me, it can get as primitive and scrappy as you care to make it! Just look at my overstuffed hobby room. Not sue if you've seen pics, but yeah' it is crazy busy in there.

Keep it coming Bruce! I'll be looking forward to seeing more.


Also, there is a preliminary possibility of a Hobby Day in October, but the situation is still being monitored. I would so love to meet you someday and build models alongside you.
