TX Air Guard?
Yep! That Viper I got at the show will be a Ellington Field (Houston) jet. I'd like to do a San Antonio Phantom. That's what they flew before transitioning to the Viper.

Glad to have you along!

Got the main construction done now onto painting! This build is going a lot faster than I have anticipated.

A neat trick using black and yellow wire to create ejection seat pull levers. Where do you find them? Craft store? Definitely will do this on all my modern fighter jet bang seats.

I'll say! Being a ZM I would've expected a much longer build time. Coming along nicely Clint. :shoutout:

Thank you all so much!

Kari this kit has been a dream to build so far and would highly recommend it.

Tom I've got floral wire from the craft store before it comes in several different gauges. The wire I used for this I got awhile ago from RadioShack when they was going out of business. I got about 10 rolls of different gauges for a dollar a roll.

Mustang I'm surprised on how fast this is going together myself and I would be even farther along with it but I've been really busy at work and really only had the past two weekends to do anything with it.

What markings are you planning for this? If you’re doing Vietnam era markings, that ECM pod with the rectangular center section is a late 80’s type.

Thank you for that info. I'm lost when it comes to modern jets. I built both of them up and was going to ask what one would be appropriate for 1969 if any. I'm going with the kit markings Betty Lou.
