Looking very good! Do you have the same problem I get with milliput and always end up mixing too much? It's nice to have a bit extra to use as your test piece to poke at to see if it's cured but I'm bad about way over mixing.

Thanks for following as well, Clint. You raise a good question. Milliput can be mixed in very small parts. I make the leftovers serve as the hourglass just as you do. However I have found that a ball of putty hardens faster without tension, not having to stretch to fill an area. I usually give a project 12 hours to cure before moving on to the next step in my fill process. In this case, I will wait until tonight.

Cool to see you trying your hand at armour Bruce - It's a nice little kit, it remains my only finished 1/35 build to date.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with yours, the work on the Turret looks great.

This grey mix is closer to the period renders of color. It’s a full shade darker than Tamiya’s German Gray, but quite close to what I am seeing here. The difference between taking a photo at 5 pm and at sundown (when this was taken) clearly indicates how actively the color shifts with lighting; add a thorough coating of road dust and the color breaks apart into lighted edges with darker connecting spans.
