Nice work Tom! Bombs looked great. A friend of mine used a different technique for adding thew yellow rings on the noses of the bombs. He would fill a small container with yellow paint and then dip the nose of the bomb in it. He would then tap it against a paper towel to wick off the excess. Once it was dry, he would then fill a similar container with slightly less OD and then dip the nose of the bomb in that, wicking as before and letting it dry. Voila! Perfect yellow nose rings!

Main decals are done. Stencils are next. Then final assembly with gear struts.

Oh and I also spent Thursday cleaning up my work bench and organizing in proper order of clutter. I've been out sick since Tiesday with a bad cold I caught from my son - both tested negative. Went back to work today. Now the wife is sick. She called into work today. No doubt she'll be tested negative.
This was the first time I've caught a cold in 15 - 20 years.

Decal session is done. This weekend, I’m going to try to get this bird to the finish line once and for all. Here’s what’s left to do before calling her done:
Main gear struts/tires - including nose wheel
Gear doors installed
Wing braces
Cluster bombs/Maverick missiles to corresponding racks/pylons
Wingtip lights
Pitot to wing
Flat clearcoat and subtle weathering

Thank you, Clint. Fast yet frustrating build. Hated the kit but promised my son I’d build it since it was a Christmas present from him in 2020. I’m at the point I don’t care about accuracy on this old Revell kit. Just wanted to get it done. Would I do another A-10? Absolutely. Just as long it’s not a Revell kit.
