Still have a few Z series Xacto blades. Noticing they’re hard to find now. Walmart is where I usually find them. Haven’t seen them on their shelves in a year. Time to look elsewhere for them.

I have a small pair of straight scissors that seem to work well. This stuff is easy to cut. I bought some off eBay a few months ago. They are getting pricy. You ca get a #11 scalpel handle and blades at a not unreasonable price. Those work very well, too.

Good news, Tom! It stayed on overnight. This was applied over a flat finish. Now to go see what needs to be done to paint over it. Cotton buds/swabs work well for burnishing the stickers.

Screw it. Went to Webster (Rochester area) for Easter Brunch at my sis in law's house. Was gonna stop by Performance Hobbies in between but checked online to see if they were open. Just as I thought...closed.

Gonna order a bunch of stuff this week since I got $250 from birthday money last month to play with.

Started working on Zimmerit stickers tonight. Definitely a learning curve. Best to use water and a drop of dish soap for ease to move to position.

Any spares, I can go back and fill in spaces since some are too short to give me full coverage.

I found that the big bits work well but the smaller bits - like those that go around the gun mantle - I found too stiff to be usable. they were very difficult to get to conform to shape. I actually used a bit of TET in places, or just the old putty method.

I'm finding some Zimmerit decal stickers are too short/small or not fit correctly even though I know I'm using the correct sticker.

I'm also finding out quickly small scissors work best than an Xacto knife.

At the end of the night I almost trashed the Panther kit because of the learning curve using Zimmerit stickers. Let's see how I do when I get back to it again.
