Ah you see I could live with that - the Spanish are Dudes. But the French... mon dieu! (I jest obviously, never met a Frenchmen I didn't get on with).

I can’t say that I’ve met any Frenchmen face to face. We served alongside them in Bosnia and crossed paths on occasion, but both groups avoided one another.

Now Spaniards I know a bit more from my travels… and considering I have a huge family that is still in Mexico…

Awesome! I've not been to Mexico but I like the vibe. I've been to Spain a few times over the years and loved it. A very chill place, especially if you go to the non-touristy bits (we travelled to Valencia from London by Train). Loved the food!
