This Brassin engine has been a thorn in my side for the past three days now. Lots of tiny/fragile parts...I put in a solid 7-8 hours in parts clean up and assembly alone. Throw a few more hours on for painting and detailing. I'm SO glad that's over!!! Just like the "E", the guns and their associated details will go on later, so I don't destroy the stuff when masking.

The line up, as they sit now.
(That E was nothing short of a PITA to close up around the engine!)

Maybe a PITA, but well worth the effort, Fermis. I really like what I see. Especially the last picture greatly shows that these planes were just a massive engine with a small CP behind it plus a pair of wings.

Dang, sorry to hear that engine has been such a pain in the Brassin...

...see what I did there?

I did notice that the Revi gun-sight on the recon bird was sans the leather "face-plant" cushion on the front?

Well the engine looks good at least. I'm finding the Eduard kit to be quite fiddly myself. Did you have any problems with the bottom fuselage join just behind the wing? One of my pieces is like curved up there making a huge step gap.

There is a slight "offness" there...doesn't seem too bad, but have yet to build the wings and fit em to see how bad it really is.

Here's todays progress.
Scratched some detail in the tail...cameras, master compass, framework and linkages for the control surfaces.
