I'm really liking this whole "marble" base method for aircraft builds. It's a bit more time consuming but man o man does it ever pay off!! This looks just great!!!

Yeah, that is another technique I have yet to learn; much less master. I'm too uncertain of how to do it in my scale and not make it look over scale.
This however, is looking magnificent!

Thanks guys! It's really not that hard to do. Honestly I don't do it exactly the way most people do but it still works for me. I still think the bottom needs another pass.

Hot damn that’s a lot of ordnance!
I think jets like these involve an amount of patience and attention to details all their own. I have a lot of respect for people who put the time in with that stuff. Frankly- I don’t think I could. Not at the moment anyway.
Anyhow, I’m looking forward to seeing these guys painted and mounted. They’ll make the aircraft look super mean and intimidating and I dig that. The Phantom is a force to be reckoned with.
