I’d been mulling that over, myself. Thank you for posting that, John.

The sun popped out today so I was able to take some proper pics of Red 1 with the 5DMkIV. I'm not very happy with the pics and I think there is a tiny bit more work to be done but I'll share some of the pics anyway...

Have a great holiday, John! See you in a few weeks... I will have I hope completed the Do 17 by then! p.s. I think your photos are extraordinary except for the reflections caught by the cockpit glass. I do not remember those being in any other outdoor setups of other models and am wondering why these are present now—almost looks like the top of roll-up garage door? Actually scratch that the reflection is present in the other model shot just above your most recent glamor shots. For some reason I thought you set up a table outside on your driveway to take the photos. Perhaps it is better to move the table away from the garage or whatever may be causing the reflections. Forgive me if this is nit-picky. I just... your canopy glass is extraordinary and needs to be seen as clearly as possible.
Make more models!

Those red and white stripes just exploded in my eyes while scrolling down from the first pics. I love the work you've done here.
Have a great holiday. Maybe you'll find the time to wander on the old Silk Road.

The combination of color and weathering/grime is just right. Enjoy your time away. Be safe

Yes it has been nice to see the sun after a week of gray and wet... a glorious sunset yesterday! Not to mention the full moon overnite.
That is looking fantastic John. The indirect sunlight does help show the nuances in colors and the reflection off of the canopy, perhaps unintended, adds a nice bit of natural dazzle to some of the photos.

You have help to spur me on in attempting another aircraft paint job through your excellent work on the last couple of builds that you've pulled off. Good lookin' build and thanks for sharing it all with us John.
