Stuart, I’m hoping I won’t disappoint. I may have some time tonight to play with some ideas!

No time last night. Let’s see what happens later.

Well now, I didn’t take photos but I did work on an idea for seat belts last night. Something Carlos wrote about saving scrap PE clicked with an approach to adding at least the detail of the buckle, so I used some of the Tom’s Model Works brass fret to build one. Most of the time was spent cutting and crafting two belts and seeing if I could get them to drape the seat properly. I always start with paper forms but in this case I tried the heavyweight Bristol board I use for making comics. This board was then softened and toned with white glue to fall over the seat.

Sounds like a perfectly acceptable use of time there Bruce.

Let’s see. I’m not totally happy with the results, so I’m thinking this is a V1.

... and I've rebuilt this to a V2 specification with plastic card strips and wire. I'm letting the small amount of CA I used cure for a bit. Photos of both versions. Version 1 the paper belts is on top; Version 2 the plastic belts is on bottom.
