Have been almost a week off the SPAM world, but have read and followed the posts!

Bruce, the "series" of this build starts to be more and more an artistic approach to the build in a great visual way!

Resulting of course in the fact, that I believe many of us don't even want you to finalize the build...

But instead hoping that you continue adding, updating, changing, thinking, planning the build for years to come! :-)

What a privilege to have your perspectives here on the forum pages. I look forward to seeing your finished projects so very much. I am grateful you and others have stayed the course with me here for 44 pages, seriously, much research and learning as well here amongst those pages, certainly of many suggestions and support from comrades and fellow fighters in the war of art making and creating. Carlos—I really like your tow cables for example! And Kari I am glad you are back from vacation and thank you for all of your incredible heavy metal finishes and UV glue ray guns. What a crew!

And to all other responders and visitors thank you as well. 44 pages of fine scale research and here is the cockpit... I wasn’t sure last night if I was seeing things when it comes to page count but I have made it my mission to build like all of us here—I believe our mission statement is “to build our own way,” buck trends and simultaneously support the past—our heritage.

Well, Monday has arrived! Let’s all enjoy this merry month of May... the last few weeks of May, at any rate.

I just read John’s latest post, and I will respond, but I need to add a few notes here first: this will give me a shot at the flooring; I want to take Carlos’s initial advice to make the foot covers black but I think I will build the depth with card then paint then add strips of sandpaper to create a black paint mixed with sand composition.

I started working on how to support the internal fuel tanks aft of the cockpit:

All it has to do is make sense in your head, and from there, you translate that concept into miniature reality.
