I have two sidelined... and the one that I had built I scrapped before moving. Landing gear kept breaking, and I could not fix them again easily. So stripped of usable parts and into the garbage bin...
Medicman71 wrote::hmm: Wow. And I thought I had a lot of F/A-18 stuff.
I have a few of those in my stash too...

I stripped the paint from the nose and the front underside. Man it doesn't look pretty.

It'll come out alright in the end. I hate having to strip paint.

For me, taking the paint off isn’t as bad as trying to get it back the way it should be. You will get this.

What sort of paint did you use originally, type & brand? Also, what did you use to strip the paint?

I used Stynelrez primer, AK Real Air lacquers for the color. I used 90% Isopropyl Alcohol to strip the paint.

Just a little backwards progress. You'll get this all sorted out A-OK Mike.

Ok... and the 90% Isopropyl strips thru all that stuff with no problem? Interesting. I’ve only stripped paint a few times and used Easy Lift Off. I have no idea what’s in that stuff chemical wise.
