Google translate is fun.
lol - you could have a lot of fun with this - how about ''I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve'' .

Your conversation reminds me of a funny story my daughter told me the other day. She had an assignment in one of her classes to write a fictional letter home - from the viewpoint of a Chinese emigrant to the UK. One of her fellow students, who has a Chinese Father and who speaks fluent Chinese, handed it in actually written in Chinese script. :giggles: Thankfully the teacher had a good sense of humour!

Stuart, that it a good quote to use! Great story.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks Stuart, that is a good story. What a great idea for that little girl. As the teacher I'd give her an "A" just for the ingenuity, or it may have been the grandfathers idea but her willingness to go with it.
I believe that's what I'll do Stuart, that's fantastic! Anybody who could read Japanese and read in is such tiny script would get a kick out of it I think.

Here ya go Stuart.
It's probably far too complicated and it's probably look like crap shrunk but...it's a first run.

OK guys, here's a picture update. Last night I finished the stern anchor chain, touched up all the paint and started adding the boats. I also painted the stern deck girders. Tonight, finish installing the boats and set the deck. Once the deck is set I'll need to scratch the cross bracing of the pillars and attach the cranes, ladders and landings.

I also enlarged the box with the squadron lists and target assignments on the chalkboard drawing.

Wow! All them girders the detail is amazing! Is going to look so awesome once attached to the ship.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
