The front grill has got its recess painted black. Now, this step was unnecessary after this afternoon. Will show you why later.

The telescoping arm that opens and closes the rear door has got a new hydraulic line because the kit´s line suffered from bad mould mismatch. Easy task.

The top turrets cover has some ejection marks, filled them with Mr Dissolved Putty.

Looking good so far Thomas. :shoutout: Taking on that Road Warrior appearance now. :hmm:

I may not have been commenting much, but I'm watching this with admiration for the success you're achieving here. This is looking fantastic. Keep going man!

Thank you very much, guys!

As I have said earlier adding a black outline to the radiator grill was needless. Why? Because I decided to give Gunze´s Mr.Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black a try! Upon opening the little bottle I knew that breathing protection was absolutely necessary! ...

This stuff stinks terribly. But wearing my mask I could spray the MRAP without losing consciousness...

This black base has now dried for some days. I noticed some areas where the surfacer left a rough, well, surface (no pun intended!). Wet sanding with an abrasive sponge worked and left a smooth silk surface. The vehicle now is drying again.

Ha, now it looks like straight out of a Mad Max movie. Very mean machine!

Mr.Surfacer is my standard primer since beginning of the year and I love it. Needs some serious thinning (>50%) to level out perfectly over all surfaces and to achieve a silky shine.

Spending my time to mask the armoured windows of the top turret these days. They have to be masked inside and out by masks of different size. Too bad that there are no pre-cut masks available... :bored:

Just do what I did on the F4! Paint over them.....not.

This is looking very nice and like I would expect from you.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
