Finally got some greens on the body.. this is Tamiya Field Grey thinned 1:5 with thinner

With a different angle.. you can see how big the Fulcrum is compared with the paint bottles and cutting mat.

Very happy to see and be painting another color! This time is the black for the anti-glare panels. Base is straight XF-1... then a ligher over spray of XF-1+XF-19 with a 1:9 ratio.

Then a coat of future before closing everything off with Tamiya masking tape.

:writing: Lots of good info!

It really looks great!! So your ratios are one part paint to thinner?

oh, better I make it a bit more clear... the "XF-1+XF-19 with a 1:9 ratio" is the ratio between the paint itself.

While the ratio with the thinner is 1:4.

thanks guys. I have been busy doing social work, increasing awareness among the public about scale modelling. I am back with the Fulcrum now. The MiG-29 gets an additional thin coat of paint.every layer is a mix of the original paint. be it XF-25 plus a pint of XF-19 or any other greys

Another angle of the Fulcrum. the camo is soft edge, but pictures doesn't show that is a tight 'soft edge' so I painted everything freehand.
