I know nothing about ship modeling so I have to ask. Wouldn't it be easier to paint the small parts like the lifeboats before assembly?

I dont know nothing about boats/ships too. Well, I had some tricky projects in the past, so I just try it like that, especially because some boats are tricky to glue once the carrier deck is installed. A very small brush and some patience should do the trick. And...

...of course you cant defend a carrier like that with two small AA guns only. Here they are:

Thats exactly why I bought it - you cant expect more for a kit (unless you find a PE kit by chance). :giggles:
