Thank you, Bruce and Kari!

I might be doing a 180 on bringing up the demarcation just a hair. I think if I try that, I’ll ruin it. It isn’t a big deal, it isn’t like, grossly screwed up or anything. I think it would be a good idea to just add the RLM 02 in there and then do the wings. For my first-ever attempt, I’d say I accomplished everything I wanted to, and cashed-out before I let my rabid OCD get the better of me HAHAHAAA!

Seriously guys, thanks so much. This has been a pleasure of a project and having y’all’s feedback and encouragement and advice has made it all the better. I sincerely appreciate you.

What you write hits because I forever want to change things to make em better, but it’s always better when a thought begins with “I might...” to say to the thought, “No.”

From what I know, to redo the darnacation area requires a partial repaint of the sides with a blend on the lower fuselage first, then carefully redoing the top area.

But but but there may be other ways to do this.... I just know what I would do.

Personally, you might try a scrap section of plastic and recreate the effect and the adjustments. That would make the most sense to me.

I’m putting a pin in that idea, Bruce, and will test it out another time on an old plane I got.

In the meantime, I’m taking your first suggestion and saying “NO” to that thought LOL

I got the starboard and port sides from the cowling back to the end of the canopy exactly how I wanted them, I did the mottling and didn’t screw it up, and, y’know, I haven’t dropped the damn thing LOL I think this is one minor fault (seriously, like a millimeter and a half at the most) which I can live with.

If you think it may need a bit more or less or adjusting, but you’re not quite sure, that’s probably a good point to hold at and move on to the next thing.

That’s where I’m at, Carlos. I’ve been down this road before, and it’s only ever taken the old boy Kenny X to one place- The Heartbreak Hotel. Time to move onto the next thing.

Sage words from a wise man. For my 2 cents, stop now. It looks good.

Sometimes its better to move on rather than to obsess over a certain detail. I tend to do the obsess thing myself. The mottling looks really good, Kenny. Luftwaffe mottling looks easy but is notoriously difficult to get a realistic looking result.
