Duke Maddog wrote:Beautiful diorama man !I would have probably positioned the Falcon at a bit more angle so more of her could be seen from the one side. Still, that is a great scene. I agree with Carlos, it does need an X-wing, which I don't believe would take away from the Falcon. She's a big bird and brilliantly done!
Still, this is yours and you truly will make this an outstanding masterpiece!
Thanks Duke looking at it now I probably should have but I was going for the same angle as the set. I took out my Bandai x wing and I don't have enough base left for her.

Based on the still frames posted, are you going to add the work area in blue and the generator area in green?

I think you can read my mind sometimes I'm trying to find some clear photos of the areas right now.

You might also - well with your skills I would say just do it! Add the hanging lights. These give you the pools of light on the Falcon and Speeder.

So I got all the electric hooked up and it all works first try! Started adding the thick conduit to the walls and floors. Next I will start weathering it and trying to figure out clutter and where the figures will be.
Thanks for looking in!

That is... wicked. That’s just about the coolest moment ever! What that must be like in person must be even more so, and I imagine you as the builder must feel amazingly good right now! I would check out various droids on Shapeways.

THANK YOU BRUCE! It is something to see in person, I'll be posting another video soon. I've kinda hit a wall here I've been trying to find photos of the empty area in front and have came up with nothing so far.

Have you watched this virtual tour of the entire base. The hangar section starts at approximately 3 mins in.

Here are some ideas. I would go to Shapeways and order R2s and Gonks in packs and paint them as these will sell the diorama details.
Top R descriptions:
2 Power Generators. 10 feet high. Scratchbuild?
2 Gonk Droids, Shapeways!
2 R2 Droids, Shapeways!
1 Moving Beacon. 2-1/2 feet high. Scratchbuild?
1 Power Converter with power cable

Thanks for the sketch Bruce, and I'm ahead of you with the droids. I got that card of six and two gonk droids.
