After several test fittings, I realized that I needed to remove more plastic from the kit part. The back deck had to be removed. Now the cockpit fits perfectly!

Nice catch! I guess you could've also sawed off the deck from the resin part.

Got the cockpit installed. Now for all the PE that goes around it.

I presume that you will be painting the sills PE before your glue it in place?

Wow, it doesn't look like there is much room for PE sills. Will it get in the way of the fit of the clear parts?

Yes the PE parts are already painted. I plan on having the canopies open so the PE sills shouldn't be a problem.
