Lyle’s Jet GB subject is ...

All things jet, no props and Stik...no armor even though the M1 is turbin powered.

Thank you, but a close look who’s how bad it is. Had it lined up, taped and now there is a slight step the length of the spine. Looked up some pics of the intakes...my word, these are pitiful. For RoG and what I thought was a quality brand, is is really bad. Really bad.

Thank nope. Probably won’t do that again. I had to scrub off residue sticky from the tape!

sanded/filled the spine of this thing.

In a vain attempt to "help" the intakes look better, put some Tamiya white/gray putty in there. Doh. Now to figure out how to get in there to sand. I think I have some stiff sanding sticks. I don't know how to fix this. I can get the filler out, but.....styrene?

Needle files... get yourself a set. They work perfect for tight situations like this...

Lyle, why not cut some pieces of thin smooth card stock and glue these over the gaps.....

Hmmm, that just might work. I also have some sheet styrene that is about that thin. Thanks for noodeling this around.

At that size... in that location... a piece of paper colored in marker and cut to size could be white glued over that gap. Try it. Much easier than sanding. And the main issue is adding more fill then sanding and going back and forth several times...
