The console is looking good, have you tested it in place yet?

Yes, sort of. There is a gaping opening just about where it goes. . . I’ve dropped in there already.
I believe it will fit.

I was most impressed with the first attempt Lyle. This is excellent work on the second one too. I'll be looking forward to seeing this with the gauges on it.

You are too kind! I am happy with it, if I can keep the wheel in place.

Very good work on that console Lyle. I hear you on the sore neck and the eyes being crossed.

It is nine a.m. New Years Day. Why are you not at your bench? Went to bed around 10 pm and let the fireworks and gunfire (yes, gunfire) wake me. Happy New Year to all of you. Now get busy clear that backlog.

Here is where I am on this one. Down to the fiddley bits....but then again most of the parts were fiddley bit. I will aim to get those attached and some paint applied. I am going with the overall grey and hull brown, because I like that.

Looking very un ship shape at the moment Lyle. You need to get a detail of sailors slinging paint on her immediately! :giggles:

I remember building the large scale PT-109 with battery operated motor back in the 70s. Came with figures including the gunner. Anybody remember that kit? Looking good, Lyle!

Thanks! Would that have been the Lindberg kit?
