Thank you, Clint. The Going Merry ship model and display are gorgeous. I am looking forward to your next project very much. I visit the 1/32 PCM 190 every month to check on the status of the plastic parts. I have to do this with the two resin kits I have to make sure the resin is not shifting or melting in long term storage. I look forward to getting my water and electricity back on 24 hours a day after the repipe is done so I can move forward on larger projects—and just be able to shower, shave and do my laundry. I went to a Coin Op on Friday and felt like I was doing hard time. I just am very sheltered, I know, but the homeless men and women were camping out and I knew to use the dryers farther back (the statistics apparently show units closer to entrances are more used and abused), but I still felt I was in the wrong place for clean clothes.

I never quite got the Curtiss Interior Green quite to your standard, but I have studied your work on your project many, many times and look forward to your future progress eagerly.

Thank you Bruce. I've already started on my next project a Dragon kit with two Dragon figure sets. Like most Dragon kits the instructions are horrible. I'll start a post on it tomorrow. I hope your living situation settles down really soon, it's got to be hard. I've seen a lot online of LA most of the city looks like day 3 of a music festival with tents, trash and strung out people everywhere. It's funny to me the government officials and elite of LA and most of California want to try and tell the rest of the Nation how to act, what to do and what to support but they can't even take care of the problems of their own people.

“In May 2012, Polish oil company worker Jakub Perka was on an expedition in Al Wadi al Jadidi, 200 miles from the nearest town when he discovered a crash landed P-40 aircraft. In that remote location, no one had disturbed it, and the entire plane remained relatively intact; a makeshift shelter had apparently been constructed outside the plane using a parachute.

When 24-year-old Flt Sgt Dennis Copping was forced to crash-land here in June 1942, he probably realized he stood no chance of survival. On June 28, 1942, Flt Sgt Dennis Copping of the RAF was flying a damaged P-40 Kittyhawk between two British airfields in Egypt for repairs and maintenance. But the aircraft never arrived at its destination, and for 70 years the Kittyhawk’s fate and that of its 24-year-old pilot remained a mystery.

Dennis, 24, who was from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, his parachute silk was found by the fuselage for use as shelter and the aircraft radio and battery were beside it. He is believed to have tried to walk to safety in the 120°F heat, but is not thought to have got further than 20 miles. In fact, human remains were found within three miles of the wreck. ‘Dennis’s dad and mum always held on to the hope that as he was listed as missing, he would one day walk through the door. Sadly they passed away without knowing or having closure.’”]

I find this story so unique!

What is even more sad is the restoration of the P-40 which was a fiasco...

I'd punch him back regardless. Better yet, I would given him a hard shove on his arse. If there are no witnesses, it's his word against yours. Then again, I'm from New York, We don't put up with crap like this around here.
