Another small "gotcha" on this one. …. sometimes, they will put a number in bold print like 66 and maybe "X" it out - somewhere in a stop. That will usually mean go look at the step they X-ed out and see what it needs...have to watch those.
This one is a bit different as is the one in step one (removing hinges is you want closed gear doors - step 22). See part O63 The two small windows behind the cargo door? Great. Glue 'em in.
Oh, you want an option mentioned in Step 31, a page later? Fill 'em in. At least that is what I think the little scraper symbol means. Not listed in the front of the instructions.
if you choose this, it would seem to be easier to fill those openings at the outset.

Interesting - personally I've never been a fan of Revell's instructions, I've always thought they were a bit of a mixed bag.

They are truly a mixed bag. Ever since they got away from doing some word description of what is going on it has been that way. Oh well....

This brings back memories of the Revell Horten instructions where the landing gear up or down illustration and initial steps was presented so poorly I had no idea what to cut off or what to leave on the fuselage. I definitely agree with you about written instructions. My belief is that one of the main reason forums exist is to provide the missing reference. Honestly we are filling in a real need to give a written narrative of how how to build these kits. As I apply for jobs I realize that the cover letter is the most important component, and as I follow our members’ projects here I realize that these notes are the key component we need to figure out these models.

Lyle, you are right about that little scraper thing being a "fill" indicator. I guess the best thing to do is to go through the instructions with a pen or pencil and make notes for the different steps one must take for their chosen scheme. I need to bring mine down and get started on it.
