Maybe a little future on the windshield? Nice save on the wheels. Watching you build this... I'm pushing my kit to the back of the stash :headslap:

After finally being able to look at these pictures I see what's happened. If you are still able to remove the windshield and work with it, a good polishing with Novus 2 should bring it back out. After that, wash in soap & water and then dip the glass in Future. You should be able to use whatever glue you want after that Tom. Hang in there bud.

Nice save. Yeah I had something similar happen to the Johan Chrysler Turbine car I'm working on. The kit is pretty much unobtanium so getting replacement parts aint happening, lol.

You know it’s funny when this kit (or any kit for that matter) first came out in the 80s, I never had issues building them. Now, it seems some parts are being produced too thin, excess flash (don’t get me started on excess flash on chrome trees :headbang: ), instruction guides changed, or some unforeseen fit issues. I don’t get it....

The molds have aged is part of the reasoning. And I’ll bet that some quality control measures may not be so sharply adhered to as they once were... :hmm:

I suspected that too, Carlos. It’s a shame though. AMT and MPC kits used to be great kits. Today, not so much as it used to be.

Spent last night applying decals. All is left to do is install side mirrors and door handles.
