I have always had good luck with Revell's decals. The decals for the nose (and, I assume the rest as well) are hideously thick and almost unformable. Perhaps with enough Microsol?

Compound curves… air bubbles… some pin pricks and possibly minor slices with a new xacto, then micro sol doses as needed should take care of most of that.

I can't have sharp objects...will a crayon work? It is getting better, but dried a bit crooked.

I wouldn't worry too much about the decal - you could always touch any cracks with some paint - that's what I did to my Mustang.

Just had a thing happen I've not experienced before...These decals are different. There was a small star/bar on the spine of the H-34 and something happened to it. I tried to loosen it with water. No joy. put some tape over it to pull it off. It didn't budge. Not one bit. BUT, the clear coat came off around it.
Out came the scraper, some sanding and a spritz of the OD.
